Title search ordered

We pull the chain of title from the county Register of Deeds and begin examining ownership history, liens, easements, and encumbrances.

Commitment delivered

A title commitment is issued showing exactly what will be insured and any conditions that must be cleared before closing.

We schedule the closing

Your closer coordinates with all parties to confirm the date, location, and document package. Wire instructions arrive through our secure portal.

Pricing transparency

Need a quick fee estimate?

Email orders@miallegiancetitle.com with the property address and sale price. We will send a buyer and seller fee estimate, typically within a few hours during weekday hours. Title insurance premiums are filed rates with the Michigan Department of Insurance and Financial Services and are not negotiable between providers. What varies is the agency fee and ancillary services. Our fee sheet is published and available on request so there are no surprises at the closing table.
