Our commitment

Accessibility is not an afterthought.

Allegiance Title Agency, LLC is committed to ensuring that our website and our closing offices are accessible to people with disabilities. This includes clients with visual, auditory, motor, cognitive, and situational impairments. We review our practices regularly and welcome feedback when we fall short.

Web accessibility

WCAG 2.2 Level AA target.

This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at Level AA. We pursue this through:

  • Semantic HTML that accurately describes page structure and content
  • Sufficient color contrast ratios for text against background colors, tested against WCAG AA thresholds
  • Full keyboard navigability with visible focus indicators on all interactive elements
  • ARIA labels and roles on interactive components, icons, and non-text content
  • Respect for the operating system reduced-motion preference (animations are disabled when the user has requested this)
  • Descriptive link text that makes sense out of context for screen reader users
  • Alt text on all meaningful images

We are aware that no automated tool or internal review can catch every accessibility issue. If you encounter a barrier on our site, please tell us so we can fix it.

Closing accommodations

Tell us what you need. We will prepare.

Signing a closing package involves reading and signing many pages. We want that experience to be comfortable and unhurried for every client. On request, we offer:

  • Large-print closing documents printed at increased font sizes for clients with low vision
  • Extra time allocated for your signing appointment, with no pressure or time limits
  • Signing assistance for clients who need it, in compliance with applicable law
  • Mobile signings at your home, care facility, hospital, or another convenient location anywhere in Southeast Michigan
  • Additional copies of all documents for review before signing day, provided as far in advance as the transaction timeline allows

Please tell us about your needs at order intake or at any time before your signing appointment. Earlier notice lets us prepare better.
